Welcome back on another glorious day, Gospel Chums!
I've colored and lettered page 2 of the next Gospelman Adventures story, "The Greatest Superhero!" This story acts as an introduction to the series in some ways as the original issue's story, "The Cross of Grime Alley," was in a way a one shot or disconnected story. This is why we're having this introduction page for our main characters and a change of setting! Plans to bring back some of the characters from issue one's story are in the works however, so it's not non-canon!
Anyway, I reached out to one of the daughters of Robbie, a pastor who owned this comic shop before he went on to be with the Lord, and was given permission to include this shout out to him and the shop. Original logo art by Al Bigley. Robbie and I were talking about cameoing his shop before his passing and I wanted to go ahead and do it in his honor.
